David Ahmad is an innovative, well-established designer with a successful career of over fifteen years across various disciplines from consumer products like Nokia to luxury automotive like Ferrari. The common point in all the projects that David has worked for is that they are brands going through change, like launching new products, researching new trends, breaking into new markets, or simply in need of a turnaround of an existing project. David’s commitment and enthusiasm with the innovative and creative challenges, is the reason for taking in charge the design of the New Peli ProGear™ Guardian Phone Case, a high-quality, slim and sophisticated consumer product of Peli for the European market, designed in Barcelona and Engineered in the United States.
As the first European consumer product designed by Peli Product, the Guardian is an exciting challenge that demanded a joint effort of Peli with David for researching and understanding the needs of European users and the features they want and need. The result of this teamwork is a slim design that meets the stringent style requirements of the sophisticated European consumer without compromising on Peli’s legendary protection.
David brings to Peli Guardian’s design a wide global experience acquired by working in award winning projects for leading brands such as Alfa Romeo, KIA, FIAT and Telecom Italia, among others. David is also the responsible of breakthrough designs like the Ferrari F488 interior, the interior and exterior car developments for Hyundai and the interior of the Smart Tridion concept car. In addition, he designed a new range of audio visual products for LG Electronics, and was also in charge of projects for Nokia, FILA and SEGA. In the Consumer Electronics, David has experience in working in the creative stages of product development; and also in projects that require a throughout understanding of the entire product development cycle and experience.
